Thailand Adventure Diary: Part 2

I’ve only been awake in Phuket for like 9 hours, and I can confirm that ‘illegal’ is not a thing. For anything. Ever.

Patong Beach; if Bourbon Street and the Adult Film Awards threw a Mardi Gras celebration at the Playboy Mansion…no. Never mind. Still not raunchy enough…

Bang for your buck… fun fact; Thailand currency is in Thai Baht. In relation to the US dollar; 1 Baht is equal to about $0.03 US. Which means 100 Baht would be the equivalent of $3.00 US.

Back in Chiang Mai, I opted for a traditional Thai massage- you can get 1hr for 200-300 Baht ($6.00-$9.00 US).
This experience left my body pretty sore. I was twisted in ways I didn’t think possible for my body. First night in Phuket, I went for the oil body massage. An hour later, I felt like a newborn baby seal, lathered in crisco. Aside from the slippery-ness, I felt great. I would suggest the oil massage vs the Thai massage.

We returned to the hotel on the back of scooter bikes. I really want to know the liability coverage for those taxi drivers. Going 80mph on winding roads, stopping for nothing or no one, with a helmet-less passenger is begging for a lawsuit in the US. But then again this is Thailand. So scratch the bit about liability. And insurance.

Off to somewhere I’ve never been now…✌🏻
