Thailand Adventure Diary: Part 1

It’s been 3 eventful days in Chiang Mai. We are heading to the airport to get a lift over to Phuket now 😎

I am, surprised, to report that I have not yet seen the inside of a Thai prison. If you were looking for information on the facilities and such, I can’t write a Yelp review yet…but stay tuned, I’m in Thailand until the 17th…

The Loy Krathong festival was surreal. I still can’t believe I can check that experience off the ‘before I eat it’ list ✔️

There were Temples. There was lots of gold.
There was a Golden Triangle…we took a boat down that…simultaneously hitting 2 more countries that afternoon: Laos and Myanmar. Whattttttt?! Yup.
I bought a bottle of Snake Whiskey in Laos. There is a legit baby cobra in the bottle. It’s fascinating, yet disturbing.

We went to a couple of villages. We met two different Thai Tribes. Talk about the authentic local Thai experience. Wow. Culture shock.

The Thai food has been great. The antacids are a must. I ordered fried fish last night. An entire sea bass was atop a plate of sweet and sour sauce, furnished with veggies and pineapple. The bass was in full figure. What the hell…I’m in Thailand, of course I shook off the shock of the fish starring back at me and dug in. It was damn good. I gave away his head though..bc, baby steps.

Alright, here are a few shots from the past few days…many more to come. But for now, off to the airport and on our way to the beautiful island of Phuket for the next 3 days ✌🏻
