Thailand Adventure Diary: Part 4

I am still alive. Also, I am not abducted as of now.

We took a ferry yesterday from Phuket to Phi Phi (pronounced PEE-PEE, not Fee-Fee). It’s a secluded little nugget nestled in the beautiful clear blue ocean between numerous limestone pillars.

We have a bungalow. It’s on the water. It’s spectacular.

98.76% sure I got food poisoning last night. That sucked. Starting to feel a tad better now that I am on some Thai antibiotics and a bunch of other little treasures found over the counter in the pharmacy here. For a minute I thought I was in Mexico. 👌🏼

Today we took a taxi (aka- a traditional Thai long boat) to another island. These ‘taxis’ are the primary mode of transportation between the islands. They’re also pretty neat and super stylish.

Tomorrow we will be heading out into the deep blue sea to snorkel. I’m told sharks are a non-issue in these waters surrounding Thailand, as it’s warmer and the sharks don’t like warm water temps. I’m going to be prettttttty pissed, once the shock wears off, if I was given false information and a shark swims up next to me.

I’ll be back soon, unless there’s a shark…
